I can't tell you how many I've read that feature some sort of antagonist that's described in an uncanny valley/incomprehensible to mortals sort of way. Think like "The gaunt humanoid monster that moves like a human jerking around an action figure or like fast forwarding on a vcr" type stuff mixed with stories about weird undiscovered worlds with buildings or shrines that are made of completely alien/fractal geometry. Examples are stuff like "I know why we never returned to the Moon" or other r/nosleep stuff. A lot of the good SCPs like 093 fall under this umbrella too. Is it just a current trend in internet horror to be dreamlike and esoteric? I'm not complaining but it's an interesting trend I've noticed. Also trying to find this one creepypasta where they do an autopsy on someone and when they cut them open their insides are just a vast empty void. >> Anonymous 12/20/20(Sun)14:39:35 No.119790143▶ I remember when I was like 10 or 11 I was on this sonic flash game website and somehow I got to this game that was just the Tails Doll with a blue background behind it. Everytime you clicked on it the doll would say something creepier, its voice would get deeper, and the background would turn darker. I felt like there was gonna be a jumpscare after x amount of clicks, so I stopped clicking before that could happen. Does anyone else remember this?
