SUPER MARIO 64 OCCULTISM STUFF August 2020 ===== PEACH'S CASTLE You begin outside at Peach's castle. There's a pond, a locked-away cannon, some trees. The only sound is birds chirping. There are butterflies floating around. - Butterflies commonly symbolize transformation, in the occult. Instead of standard metamorphosis, they might represtent the idea of, oh, say... a little girl transforming into an adult man, a little boy transforming into an adult woman, or chemicals transforming into scents and flavors. Right outside the castle, Camera Lakitu briefly meets you and tells you he's going to follow you around and record you. Then you forget about him. Many players of this game remark that the game has an eerie feeling of loneliness and abandonment, save for the somewhat phantom-like toads, and apparently they forgot about Camera Lakitu. First floor inside Peach's Castle, you hear the music, and see a black and white masonic checkerboard floor. There are red carpets, some pentagram gold coins, a prominent Sun Tile / Solar Disk. - masonic checkerboard floors - pentagrams - sun worship Side note, that sun tile has very, very odd behavior. If using a memory editor or just emulating the game, that particular sun tile looks for any reason to overlap anything in front of it. It'll overlap Mario or any objects in the foreground. I've never seen any other tile act like the Sun Tile does. There are 3 Stories and a Basement to this castle. ----- BOB OMB BATTLEFIELD You go up a winding mountain to defeat/kill a King. - rosicrucianism ----- THWOMP'S FORTRESS A floating island. First star, the fortress/castle isn't complete. After defeating King Thwomp, more structure appears on the level design, resembling a castle. In Japan, "floating world" symbolises a "modern society" of consumerism and hedonism. - Ukiyo In Thwomp's Fortress, you'll meet an owl that tells you to watch his shadow, and he gives you a lift and drops you in some floating caged islands. ----- JOLLY ROGER BAY Notable about this level is the mist that is present only for the first time per file, that you play this level. I always got the first star, so IDK if I could enter the level, see the mist, leave the level, and reenter and have the mist still be there. That mist never comes back. Another oddity about this level is there's an invisible floating clone of the ship in the sky. That seems to be a fairly common level programming error present in other games. This level calls to mind "classical pirates". Notice how pirates are often portrayed as being gay, such as Disney Captain Hook, the "poop deck", the "cabin boy", "booty", "ass pirates", and of course how the classic navy have commonly been thought of as being gay. "It's bad luck to take a woman on a ship". Oh if only more people knew the truth... about hermaphrodites. Classic Pirates are also strongly associated with the Jolly Roger symbol, the "skull and bones". There's also the "322 Skull and Bones society". Skeletons tell the truth. Sex is not in the genitals, because of hermaphrodites. Wrong parts outside, right parts inside. The SKELETON tells you if a person is truly male or female. Notice how the common Skulls and Bones society image shows a skull that is masculine on one side, and feminine on the other, and the femur bones look different. This has a connection to the "butterfly transformation" symbolism. - Jaques De Molay -- De Molay --- De Molay society You are required to sumberge yourself in the waters here, and swim into a sunken ship, which could symbolize death or a particularly extreme baptism session. You will then "revive" the ship somehow. As in it'll start floating, as a ghost ship. Not exactly talking about the invisible ghost ship floating in the sky, though. That might be an error. That's why this level lags so much. - Jabu Jabu in Ocarina was doubled this way. Another water interior themed dungeon. -- Jabu Jabu is a "Jonah and the Big Fish" level There is prominently also an Eel named Unagi, who bites rather than swallows whole. ----- COOL COOL MOUNTAIN This level has you begin on the top and work your way down. There's a cabin with a slide and a false wall you can pass through. This level prominently features penguins. Larger penguins are a hoax animal, smaller ones are real. Penguins are associated with "Antarctica", which could be either a complete hoax, or not what common people think it is. There's also a snowball that wants to be a body, and another snowball with a face that wants to have a body. You lead the snowball on top of the mountain down through some invisible checkpoints to join the head at the bottom. This could be a reference to rebuilding Osiris. - Osiris, and Isis' quest to rebuild butchered Osiris. -- however Osiris' penis was never recovered, so Isis had to make a new one out of gold. --- I think, I didn't research this much. ----- PEACH'S CASTLE BASEMENT After you defeat Bowser 1, you get the key to the basement. Note that it appears to be haunted. Outside in the courtyard is the infamous fountain with the "Eternal Star" or "L is Real 2401" plaque (Which also appears in Zelda Ocarina). The Star Statue is on an incomplete (capless) Pyramid in a fountain with 8 sides. > "mario processes down a long hallway into a courtyard. this is mario moving into a special niche altar, usually located in a certain cardinal direction set aside from the main temple. he is in the shadow behind the castle, and in the center of this courtyard is this sculpture" > "the missing capstone is the missing phallus of osiris. mentioned this before but when osiris was killed and dismembered (caught by his brother) his wife had to go find all his parts. she couldnt find the phallus and instead crafted one of gold so she could remake him" > "this is what the obelisk is in mystery babylon / masonic symbolism. the missing capstone is also this “missing piece”, the lost “word” of freemasonry. when isis finds this piece she can conceive her son horus from the newly remade osiris." > "what could the number be? these groups often use a different dating system. (see AL, literally “anno lucis” in the pic)" -- Skull and Bones society like to add 322 years to a document's date. There are a lot of ghosts in the courtyard. One will drop what appears to be a tiny birdcage, that somehow contains a dark world at night, with a thick late-fall forest. Even though it's a bright sunny day at the Castle, and there's no winter forest. ----- BIG BOO'S HAUNT A big haunted mansion. Outside, there's a shed with an elevator that takes you down to what appears to be a sewer, with a bizarre, brightly colored carousel that plays silly music, has ghosts, spits fire, and seems semi-out-of-place. Could this have some human trafficking connotations? Brightly colored carousels and silly music are often things that appeal to young children, and this is underground. Is that little shed supposed to represent an outhouse? Inside the Mansion are bookshelves with toothy books, kamikaze chairs, and a sound-activated Piano. You can tiptoe right up to the Piano without activating it. - ReDeads in Zelda 64 games are also sound-activated. You can tiptoe up to them and look into their faces. There are coffins in a room in the Mansion. Many secret societies have rituals involving the initiate laying in a coffin and pretending to be dead, while the others hold a mock funeral. This level has "ghost walls" that you can pass through using the Invisibility Cap. There are also eye enemies that you defeat by circumambulating around until they spin out. The winter levels have a snowman variant of this enemy type. Circumambulation is a type of ritual, as seen in Mecca, where masses of people march in a giant circle around a prominent black cube. It's seen as a way to give energy to an object. ----- SHIFTING SAND LAND An obligatory hoax-Egypt themed level. Real Egypt was probably around modern day Tennessee, and did not have the pyramids. Pyramids are a sign of Freemasons or the Illuminati. Illuminati might be some kind of red herring in-joke. The "illumination" happens in the optic center of the brain when a nerve in the rectum is struck during a sodomy ritual. "The lightbulb comes on". SSL featuers a Pyramid, natch, which is a sub-level like the LLL Volcano is, and when you stand on the 4 pillars, the capstone explodes, allowing entry. There are also large, moving black cubes with faces, on a maze above the quicksand. It's necessary to stand in the hollow, open side of where the black cubes ("tox boxes") will fall. - Quicksand IRL isn't as dangerous as it's reported to be. However you SHOULD NOT WALK ON THE MUD FLATS. The Pyramid has heiroglyphs with random imagery. - Heiroglyphs are just stamps to give some artistic design, they're not a viable form of writing. That would be pictograms. So there's a hoax there. The boss of the Pyramid is Eyerock, who is a pair of hands with eyes in the palms. - Hamsa Hand - "Gray Man" from Pan's Labyrinth - "Medamaud" transformation from Yume Nikki ----- LETHAL LAVA LAND - Lava is a hoax. It's actually molten glass. - Volcanoes are a hoax, but are used in symbolism as they're essentially organic-shaped pyramids without capstones, and full of fire/death/destruction symbolism. - LLL initials are an inverted "777". Numerology stuff, rotation of symbols, and allusion to Gematria. When Mario enters the Volcano, it can symbolize "sacrifice", like the false-history imagery of "savages throwing a virgin into a volcano to appease the gods". ----- HAZY MAZE CAVE Entrance is a pool of dark, shiny liquid in a room of pipes. This liquid is theorized to be mercury/quicksilver, and Mario has a "Hermes Mercury" role in this game, traveling from world to world, from the sky to underground, and across dimensions. The Wing Cap symbolises Hermes, and Metal Cap grants quicksilver-like properties. The Invisibility Cap allows Mario to pass through fences and certain walls, as well as enemies. All three caps symbolize mercury or hermes in one way or another. HMC has sulphiric gas. Sulphur is associated with Hell and the devil. The gas is yellow, and would probably smell like eggs. HMC also has an underwater lake with a plesiosaur. -- So does Pokemon Gold and Silver, for that matter. ----- WET DRY WORLD Great Flood reference. The only enemies are bugs, robots, and electric or fire-spitting balls. It has a desolate feel to it. The first section is just some brick wall platforming stuff involving robots. The second section features a desolate town. There are flowerbeds and the homes look like someone was just living there, but everyone's gone. They're dead. The world was flooded, then drained. ----- TINY HUGE ISLAND "Alice in Wonderland" effect, is known to occur seemingly naturally in early childhood, without the need of mind-altering substances. There's also a curious phenomenon about scaling things up or down, but fundamentally they're the same, but different sizes. A hedge plant with bursting pea-pod shaped seed pods can be a few feet high in some regions, or the exact same type of plant can be an enormous tree with enormous, bursting long seed pods. ----- RAINBOW RIDE Rainbow symbolism, originally after the Great Flood, God changed the properties of the Firmament to allow for the rainbow phenomenon to occur. This imagery was appropriated by a certain group of people who carry on some of the traditions of the preflood world, namely unsavory sexual practices that often involve children and rectums. The modern usage of rainbow symbolism is mockery of the promise to never flood the world again over buttsex, pedophilia, and creating chimeras and abominations. Rainbow Ride features magic carpets moving on tracks, a giant airship with oars, a stone furnace with a masonic checkerboard floor. ----- TICK TOCK CLOCK A grandfather clock. The "time" you enter it, determines how fast or slow the world within moves. It may even stand still. A reference to how time itself can be physically altered, as today time has sped up exponentially. Grandfather clocks had a feature where they could be slowed down. Mario infamously uses mind-altering substances that include a time-dilation effect, as well as the "Alice in Wonderland" effect. ===== 1. owenbroadcast __ https://threader.app/thread/1075258475020779520
