>>25538486 Great question. First part is to feel in no rush to make progress, counter-intuitive as it sounds. Second part is slow, deep breaths. Become sensitized to how the air fills your lungs, and vice versa. Excellent way to relax and makes for very easy sleep, if that's something that bothers you. Third part is mental. Could be different for you, but as I exhale, I let errant thoughts escape with the breath, if that makes sense. It can take multiple attempts because I'm usually deep into thought as well, ironically about things like this. This book is a good primer. A bit lengthy, but you don't consume this all in one go, or you could. Up to you. Astral Dynamics has helped many anons get started on a good foundation and perhaps it can do the same for you as well. https://b-ok.cc/book/874017/b64fa9 This part is purely speculative. Everyone is unique in their experiences. - As you get into deep relaxation, you will begin to experience "hallucinations" that distract you from development. A lot of /x/ describe them as "shadow people" but for me, it's music among other sensory receptions. I'll hear all sorts of genres, from catchy pop beats, smooth and punchy jazz, pounding rock, emotionally painful ballads, to orchestral arrangements that are so grand in scale it can only be described as celestial. Don't get distracted and sink deeper into the relaxation state. Focus plays a larger part until it becomes natural. - I believe that asking for assistance/praying for help may work as well. If the train of thought can't be stopped, I sense an outside feeling of urgent irritation that results in a "kill tone," or a mental sinewave-like "sound" that immediately halts thought. I find how effective that works. Hope it helps, but you never know until you try. ===== rcvrd jan 2021
