I'm surprised it isn't mentioned more often, even if it's only a game. Red Door, Yellow Door is also known as "Doors of the Mind." It requires at least 2 players. One is the guide, and the other is the subject. The guide sits on the floor, cross-legged with a pillow in their lap. The subject lies on the ground with their head in the guide’s lap and their hands raised in the air. The guide should, at this point, begin to massage the subject’s temples in a circular motion chanting, “Red Door, Yellow Door, any other color door” over and over again. As the subject slips into the trance, they will find themselves in a room in their mind and at that point, they should lower their arms to the floor signaling the guide and any witnesses to stop chanting. Thus the game begins >> Anonymous 09/16/20(Wed)10:55:44 No.26180253▶>>26181931 >>26180199 Then the guide asks questions. "Are you in a room?" "Describe the room." "What color are the doors?" "How do you feel about [insert color] door?" If the answer is positive, the guide says, "Go through [insert color] door." People use these rules: >If you encounter people in the rooms, don't talk to them >If you find yourself in a room full of clocks, leave immediately >It's better to move up than down (upstairs versus downstairs, for example) >Light colors tend to be more positive than darker ones >If you're trapped in a room, you need to wake yourself up, or get the guide to wake you up (they may need to roughly shake you), or you'll be trapped there forever >If you die in the game, you can die in real life >There's a man in a suit that makes many people uneasy. Avoid him >> Anonymous 09/16/20(Wed)10:56:43 No.26180265▶>>26180361 >>26180783 >>26180199 Okay. And then what? >> Anonymous 09/16/20(Wed)11:12:20 No.26180361▶ >>26180265 The point is basically to explore. Remember, you're basically in your own mind. One girl (whose story I have saved somewhere) reported that she witnessed a specific scene of sexual abuse from her childhood, and was forced to relive the trauma. So the point is to mainly keep it light, and don't wander into any dangerous territory, and you can see some cool shit. >> Anonymous 09/16/20(Wed)11:41:31 No.26180567▶ >>26180199 sucks that I need a friend who would be willing to bother with /x/ shit to do it, still interesting though.
