    There is a whole rabbit hole on the HIV/AIDS scam. That woman contracted AIDS because of her shitty lifestyle that most likely involved heavy drug use and antibiotics to treat all the std she contracted. This is what fucks up the immune system resulting in AIDS, not HIV. It's not even a conspiracy theory tons of serious scientists and nobel prizes like Kary Mullis talked about it. All of this is documented.

In late 90s, there was a sci-fi writer whose name I don't recall, but he wrote a few articles on how HIV/AIDS in USA is a hoax, and in other countries, it's diagnosed and treated differently.

this was during the 80s-90's big streak of AAAIIIIDSSSZZ propaganda, and the sudden inclusion of shoehorned gay characters in mass media.

but only in America. doesn't seem to have been a "thing" outside of USA. we'd hear about African HIV/AIDS, but again... only in western media. we never got any African media reporting on it.
