When I was a kid I moved around a lot, new schools all the time. Every school I made friends with a crowd that was the same as the last crowd, one kid was the troubled girl who cut herself, one kid was the metal head whose parent abused him, one was the pussy slayer etc. I switch schools and meet a new group, and low and behold met a new cutter, a new pussy slayer etc. I felt there are only a certain of number possible "types" like maybe 10, and they were just recycled over and over. I was the "druggie". There are only so many archetypes, the programmers of our world just use templates. Remember when Elaine on Seinfeld had her "new" group of friends and there was another Jerry, another George etc? Its just like that. The writers on that show are tuned in. In every social group there is one member who everyone calls by their last name. Who is your groups "Kramer"? Anonymous 09/27/20(Sun)02:48:57 No.26287769▶ >>26287620 I have a question for you: After meeting new people have you ever thought that they reminded you of somebody? Then after a couple of weeks you remember who they reminded you of and realise that their personalities radiate the exact same vibe. The feeling you get while talking to them is the very same. Like there's a common template they're based on. Man, reading this text makes me doubt my sanity >> Anonymous 09/27/20(Sun)04:47:24 No.26288369▶ >>26275718 You make a good point there, no matter where me and my family go, no matter how far from home, there are always people there that we know, how is that possible? >> Anonymous 09/27/20(Sun)11:36:54 No.26291170▶>>26291291 >>26287620 I worked in a call center for a few years and I noticed something very similar. I'd talk to ~70 people every day, but they were always essentially the same dozen 'archetypes.' It got to the point where I'd recognize the archetype I was talking to and could predict what they'd say. You had the sweet old black lady, the cocky 40-something white guy who thought he could alpha you, the black guy who thought he was way smarter than he actually was and would accuse you of conspiracy shit, the white woman who wanted to talk to your manager (Karen), the young 20-something white guy who was really polite... and a couple of others, but that was basically it. I talked to each of these people hundreds of times; I practically NEVER talked to anyone who didn't fit into one of these archetypes. My supervisor was smart and seemed like a non-NPC type person, so I mentioned this to him once, and he agreed immediately. >> Anonymous 09/27/20(Sun)11:52:33 No.26291291▶ >>26291170 That's pretty interesting. Care to describe more archetypes? I've always been thinking some people share the same recycled personalities but always shrug it off to my own internal schizo ramblings. But not only that, sometimes when I walk outside I see the exact same person twice but with a different "skin" like different hair color and different clothes.
