My Story Regarding Teletubbies

In early elementary school, no one ever heard of such a weird thing. No one that I knew. Except for one person.

Glasses Girl and Snackboy were among my classmates, and sometimes classmates start flinging turds for fun. So Glasses decides to declare that "Snackboy loves "tele tubbies"". But whoever heard of such an outlandish thing. I was in earshot.

I asked "what's a tele-tubby?"

Glasses got nervous and awkward, and mumbled something I couldn't make out. Asking her more about what a "tele tubby" was, and how she heard of them, got me nothing. I could only wonder about how to discover such a bizarre, outlandish thing.

Of course, Snackboy had no idea what "tele tubbies" were. How could he like something that he didn't know existed? Or what it was?

We asked teachers and other classmates what "tele tubbies" were, and got 0 results.

Glasses Girl let out a secret she should not have, and refused to reveal more info on this deep mystery. Clearly she knew more than what she let on.

Years later, like 5, at a store I saw some display for a thing called "Teletubbies". Which were those British baby show things. Never expected that.

So I thought, "Huh. I forgot about those. So THAT's what a "tele tubby" is. Huh." and yeah it was a mild disappointment.

And that's how I learned what Teletubbies were.
