    Heh. The only 'lost media' I am interested isn't even 100% lost and it's not paranormal related.

    But I guess kinda creepy since the show actually had a lot of cultural significance and it's been almost entirely memory holed. Not for any sinister purpose, just a financial one.

    Pretty hyoogely significant 'older brother' to Sesame Street. What ended up happening was Electric Company used several copyrighted characters like Spiderman. For this reason when the DVD boxed set was briefly released in the early to late 00's the episodes were massively edited. Like all of the Spiderman skits were gone among several others. And then even these massively edited episodes stopped being sold.

    For this reason the Electric Company is mostly forgotten and any time somebody attempts to place the uncut stuff on the internet they get C&D.

    Which is kinda sad because this whole thing that was part of growing up got zorched out of existence for legal reasons.
