New (name): Understandable as to why this is done, laziness and convenience. I can't knock either of those things, I'm as lazy as they come! Still though, sometimes names could just be placeholders until you come up with a better one, but sometimes... Placeholders have a way of becoming permanent.

S (letter): Something I noticed looong ago, "S" is BY FAR, bar none, rivalled barely by "A", the #1 most popular first letter. Wonder why this is.
